Where We've Been

Great to see Dave DeCaprio and Tom out with another 30 drinking cyclists last week. The Draught House never fails to deliver — they even serve a 4.1% beer that has as much flavour as an over-hopped West Coast IPA. Bloody yummy.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this coming Monday, August 17. Consider this my birthday week's commencement — start as we mean to go on: let's drink beer and be merry together. Hope to see some of you out on Monday.

Great to see Mike Davis, Dave, and Bryan who made Mates Monday last time round. I've been pestering Mike to come for about six months now — fantastic to finally hang out.

What I love about that place is it's about as close to England as you can get in Austin. The beer is great, the floor is appropriately sticky, and the vibe is unique in this city. An all-round star boozer, and one that makes an Englishman yearn for home.

In future we probably ought to start taking pictures of the moment — but for now: cheers gents, that was a blast.

Great to see Bryan, Matt Brimberry, and Dave Raymond out from the usual suspects. But we had a special guest — Todd Gardner came and joined us for his first-ever session.

Welcome to the clan, Todd.

Folks, great to see Donovan, Ryan, Jesse, a special guest appearance from Chris Dammert, Bryan Reese, and Davy Ray out last night.

We were foiled by the fish devil — the bloody Cod Almighty was closed! Thankfully, as ever, the faithful chicken sandwich and tater tots were on hand to save the day.

Big up to Brian Winslow for buying all of our beer — jk. Constructive feedback from the team: we would have drunk more if the whole game had been on.

Looking forward to next time round, and seeing some more faces out and about.

Great to see Ryan, Tom, Matt, and Bryan out this evening. G&S Lounge certainly was a GAS! I must've driven past there a thousand times and never bloody seen the place. The host was stroppy AF in all the right ways, and the place is a throwback to goodness knows when. What an absolute gem — well voted, team!

Looking forward to seeing a few of you next time round. It'll be a hard one to top.
